- Supervised one undergraduate intern to research and write two client success stories still used in program outreach materials and produce a series of picture guides in refugee languages focused of workplace vocabulary to complement vocational training and employment strategies in hotels and restaurants.
- Work with a constant pool of administrative and direct client service volunteers in a range of tasks, including audit preparation, identifying job opportunities and assisting clients in learning basic employment and life skills
- For 10 years, served as shift leader for a large and highly visible award ceremony as part of the South by Southwest Interactive Festival, managing a team of 20+ volunteers and participating in event planning leading up to the event, which grew from attendance of 200 in year one to capped attendance of 1,600.
- Volunteered for three years to develop a major fundraising event (live world music, dance and silent auction) for an immigrant homeless shelter in Austin. Participated in planning, organizing silent auction and ticket sales and collection at the door.
- Managed program to field membership volunteers on international trade missions, including selection, pre-departure travel briefings and delegation escort role.
