- Led capacity building team as second phase project geared up for rapid escalation. Spearheaded nationwide partner NGO selection for pass-through grant-making and capacity building to engage civil society in national transition strategies and key legislative implementation in a very complex operating environment in Afghanistan.
- Facilitated integration of voter education and election monitoring efforts of a fledgling coalition of Malawian NGOs in the lead-up to presidential and parliamentary elections, including coordination of public statements and maintenance of non-partisan image in the face of strong scrutiny by state-owned media.
- Compiled and edited 28 case studies and wrote original analysis in conjunction with the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL), to strengthen collaboration between health and social service NGOs and the government of Armenia.
- Coordinated coalition to organize UN World Refugee Day event in Central Texas, to raise public awareness of refugee issues and strengthen collaboration among refugee service agencies to improve service delivery and community receptivity.
- Managed start-up civil society support program in post-Soviet Uzbekistan and Central Asia as the legal framework and civil society itself were being developed simultaneously in a hostile and rapidly evolving context.
