Grant Programs

  • Designed and/or implemented USAID-funded capacity building and small grant programs, both direct and through host country NGO partners, including:
    • Nationwide intermediary grantees and pass-through sub-grants through a network of Afghan NGOs in Afghanistan
    • Emergency response in war affected areas in post-tsunami Sri Lanka;
    • Fledgling post-Soviet civil society development in Uzbekistan;
    • NGO Partner sub-grants related to Election Monitoring, Media Monitoring and Coalition Strengthening in Malawi;
    • Good governance through Sister City technical partnerships in Bulgaria;
    • NGO advocacy capacity in Guyana; and
    • IDP community participation and conflict recovery in Georgia.
