- Supported a coalition of Malawian NGOs to standardize a national network of grassroots poll monitors and present the results in a unified civil society voice during contentious national Presidential and Parliamentary elections. Including grants, publications and a system to collect, compile, analyze and disseminate results to match the official government timeframe.
- Active member of coalition to organize UN World Refugee Day event in Central Texas, to raise public awareness of refugee issues and strengthen collaboration among refugee service agencies.
- Coordinated multi-faceted organizational relationship with UNHCR, including project implementation, donor relations and consultations to advisory council delegates enabling NGO participation in UNHCR policy and programming decisions in new post-Soviet countries.
- Provided technical assistance to establish a national alumni network of all US participant training graduates in Uzbekistan, largely comprised of government officlals.
- Increasingly responsible positions in a national agricultural trade association supporting diverse membership with sometimes conflicting interests. As Executive Assistant, took minutes at all Board meetings. As Technical Coordinator, fielded and escorted member delegations to encourage international trade.
